These are issues I often ...A very thoughtful post. These are issues I often revisit in the day to day when it comes to issues about female dress and behavior. For example, my brother and I have, in some ways, similar personalities. In public, he is seen as decisive, authoritative, strong, etc. In public, when I am not careful (I have to be concious about supressing some of my stronger personality traits.) I am seen as abrasive, rude or bitchy. I find such differences completely frustrating, to say the least.<br /><br />As for the costume idea, I think its great. I couldn't believe the ads for Halloween costumes this year. For women they all seemed to various versions of the "sex kitten" (i.e. sexy pirate, sexy rag doll, sexy angel, etc.). And I'm sure the adolescent and teen girls were all graviating towards those 'sexy' costumes.
